CDG Teams with Microsoft Dynamics™

CYPRESS, Calif., January 30, 2008 – Continental DataGraphics (CDG), a subsidiary of The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA], announced today that it has expanded its business solutions portfolio for engineering and manufacturing firms by joining forces with Microsoft through its Business Solutions Partner program.  This newly formed strategic relationship with Microsoft will enable CDG to offer a broader range of business solutions, including Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics AX, which are well-suited to accommodate the material requirements planning (MRP) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) needs of CDG’s customers.

With nearly 40 years experience providing technology-based solutions for Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace and Defense, CDG has established itself as a leader in professional services for engineering-related document creation, conversion, management, publishing and distribution.  Last year, CDG added business collaboration and workflow technology to its offerings that help accelerate business by automating a company’s internal business processes, as well as external processes with its supply chain partners.  The addition of Microsoft Dynamics to its solutions portfolio will enable CDG to further extend its offerings to include ERP and MRP, critical backbone business systems for engineering and manufacturing organizations.

Microsoft Dynamics is a line of financial, customer relationship and supply chain management software that helps businesses work more effectively.  Delivered through a network of channel partners providing specialized services, these integrated, adaptable business management solutions work like and with familiar Microsoft software to streamline processes across an entire business.  As a channel partner for Microsoft Dynamics, CDG will offer services to architect, integrate, and implement Dynamics into the customer’s information infrastructure.

“Microsoft Dynamics will deliver tremendous out-of-the-box benefits for our customers with an architecture that allows us to put our industry knowledge and experience to work,” said Gary R. Beyer, Vice President of Business Development for CDG.  “This new strategic relationship with Microsoft enables us to address core business-critical systems for our engineering and manufacturing customers, and to assist them to leverage this technology to accelerate product development, improve business efficiency, and increase their competitiveness in global markets.”
