CDG to Exhibit at League of California Cities Conference and Exposition
August 24, 2007 – Continental DataGraphics (CDG) will participate as an exhibitor at the upcoming 2007 League of California Cities Conference and Exposition in Sacramento, CA on September 5-8. This annual conference draws hundreds of city and county government officials and business professionals to a single venue to review and discuss shared topics of concern to cities.
The League of California Cities is widely recognized as the leading advocate organization representing the common interests of California’s cities. The League consists of officials from 478 different California cities, all working together to enhance knowledge and skills, exchange information, and combine resources in order to influence policy decisions that affect cities.
CDG has an established reputation as a trusted provider of digital imaging and document management solutions to city and county governments. In support of customers such as the Los Angeles Superior Court and the City of Inglewood, it has developed highly customized imaging and indexing services supporting secure processing of high volumes of parking citations. Each month, CDG scans and processes hundreds of thousands of citations on behalf of these organizations.
CDG has supported the City of Inglewood in the continuing growth of its outsourced parking citation processing services. These Government-to-Government services are administered by the Enterprise Services Division of the City’s Information Technology and Communications department. As a part of its service, the City not only tracks general data on the parking citation (such as license plate numbers, date, location of vehicle, etc.), but also collects and processes the payments for the parking citation fines. The City of Inglewood has recently expanded its relationship with CDG and a network of other service providers to offer a broader spectrum of parking citation related services, including parking meters and ticketing devices, scanning and indexing of citation data, software solutions to deliver and retrieve citation data, and collection and payment processing services. Today, the City of Inglewood provides outsourced citation processing services to 80 other cities and public agencies.
At the League of California Cities event, CDG will demonstrate its digital imaging and indexing capabilities used in support of citation processing services for City of Inglewood and other public agencies. CDG will also highlight its broader collection of Digital Document Solutions, including document and content management solutions and system integration services.
