CDG Supports ProjectWorld® and World Congress for Business Analysts® as Guest Presenter
CYPRESS, Calif., Oct 29, 2009 – CDG, a Boeing Company, announced that Christopher Galante, Process Improvement Leader for CDG, will be a featured guest speaker at the upcoming ProjectWorld® and World Congress for Business Analysts® 2009 event. The event is scheduled for November 17 – 20 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA.
The conference will include a diverse audience of project management, program management, and business analysis professionals from multiple industry sectors. The purpose of the conference is to provide keynote addresses and highly focused educational workshop sessions on project management and business analysis fundamentals and strategies. By attending the conference and workshop sessions, attendees are able to earn educational credits toward certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
Mr. Galante’s presentation is entitled Using LEAN Practices to Improve Project Management. The presentation will provide a high level overview on the basics of Lean, its history, practice, principles, and tool elements. Highlights will also include real life case studies with examples of “before and after” performance metrics of Lean as applied to specific projects. The workshop session will demonstrate how Lean can be applied to improve project management execution in almost any environment, from the back office, to engineering, or manufacturing.
