CDG Forms Alliance Partnership with Allscripts
CYPRESS, Calif., January 31, 2007 – Continental DataGraphics (CDG), a subsidiary of The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA], today announced that it has formed an alliance partner relationship with Allscripts, the leading provider of clinical software, information and connectivity solutions that physicians use to improve healthcare.
Under the terms of this agreement, CDG will work with Allscripts to meet their customers’ requirements for comprehensive document imaging and indexing services in support of their newly introduced Allscripts Outsource Scanning Service. Services provided by CDG will enable Allscripts customers to eliminate paper charts and move toward a “paperless” environment. Paper documents, X-ray films, and other patient chart information can be scanned, converted to digital files, and indexed by CDG to make them accessible using Allscripts applications.
"Allscripts has an outstanding reputation in the healthcare industry as a leading provider of software and information solutions supporting patient care management,” said Randy Gee, Director of Digital Document Solutions for CDG. “Our Digital Document Solutions are directly complementary to the products and services offered by Allscripts. We are extremely pleased to form this partnership with Allscripts, as it improves our ability to offer our services in support of the healthcare community.”
CDG offers high volume digital imaging and indexing services for conversion of a number of document formats, including paper, microfilm and microfiche, X-ray film, aperture cards, blueprints, engineering drawings, and other large format drawings. With a strong reputation for secure handling of highly sensitive and confidential information, CDG’s digital imaging facilities are protected with stringent security processes, including strictly controlled access limited to authorized personnel, 24-hour security cameras, barcode tracking of all customer materials, and utilization of ISO 9001:2000 certified Quality Management Systems. CDG’s Solution Services Group also includes highly trained CDIA+ (Certified Document Imaging Architect) professionals with extensive experience in document management project planning and implementation.
"We look forward to working closely with CDG in this new alliance to make it easier for Allscripts clients to go paperless with document imaging,” said Laurie McGraw, President of Allscripts Clinical Solutions Group. “Because of their strong portfolio of digital document services, their well-established reputation as a part of The Boeing Company, and high level of security procedures in handling confidential information, we felt they were a solid partner to help provide quality digital imaging services to our clients.”
