Long Beach, Calif. – Oct. 31, 2011 – CDG, a Boeing Company will sponsor an exhibit at the upcoming SAE DoD Maintenance Symposium and Exhibition in Fort Worth, Texas on November 14-17. Hosted at the Fort Worth Convention Center, this popular event will focus on military and commercial maintenance technology, information systems, and management processes, with a stated purpose to share best practices and lessons learned while fostering public/private partnerships.
More than half of the attendees at this premier annual event include representatives from military and government agencies, with the remainder of attendees from tier 1 suppliers and system integrators, OEMs, and parts and component suppliers. Invited guest speakers include highly respected officials from the US military and defense segments, including the Honorable Alan Estevez, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics and Materiel Readiness, and LTG Claude Christianson, (U. S. Army Ret), Director of the Center for Joint and Strategic Logistics at the National Defense University.
Each year, the conference sponsors a “great ideas” competition. The theme for the 2011 competition is entitled, “Achieving Readiness through Efficiency and Effectiveness in Maintenance Operations.”
