Boeing Subsidiary CDG Announces Technical Industry Day
WELWYN GARDEN CITY, UNITED KINGDOM, Sept. 22, 2016 – Continental DataGraphics (CDG), a wholly- owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] today announced the company will host a new technical industry event focusing on improved technical documentation, e-Learning and collaboration processes to drive enhanced efficiency and safety in the aerospace and defence industries.
The “Drivetime” Industry Day event will be hosted in Bristol, UK on Wednesday, 7th December 2016, and will feature keynote speakers from CDG and other aerospace and defence-focused organisations.
With a full day schedule including workshops, case studies, live product demonstrations and discussion groups, “Drivetime” will focus on the key topics of effectively outsourcing technical documentation support, the trend towards convergence of technical documentation and training departments, the challenges of managing multiple legacy and current technology platforms, and the benefits of blended classroom and e-Learning approaches to training.
Delegates attending the event will be able to review demonstrations of new multimedia approaches applied to training content and discuss the newest release of the S1000D international standard for technical publications with CDG’s technical subject matter experts.
