Process Improvement Workshops:

• The 5S Workshop (5S) is a foundation program for Lean.  This vigorous housecleaning event, a five day workshop, focuses on re-organizing the workplace and using visual controls to manage daily work. 
• The Value Stream Improvement Workshop (VSIW) is a multi-day event where your team working with CDG advisors will evaluate one or more business or manufacturing processes, which will be broken down to identify critical points of value and identify wasted steps.  The re-engineered processes often result in dramatic change and long-term improvements.  The key process changes are captured, and a detailed implementation plan is developed to help push the changes into production.
• The Accelerated Improvement Workshop (AIW) is a multi-day event that focuses on a very specific problem area.  The problem is evaluated through detailed simulation and results in a re-engineered environment where the problem is eliminated.
