Job Description

The individual will be responsible for changing/revising commercial aviation technical manuals. This includes researching data, applying applicability rules within the structure of text, marking up illustrations, and performing self-checks. Qualified candidates require sufficient engineering skills to make moderate to advanced technical authoring decisions related to manual content.

Requirements:

• BS in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical) or applied science or extensive related work experience
• CMM experience with Framemaker or similar program strongly preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years technical writing experience
• Exposure to ProE, CATIA , SolidWorks and/or other 3D applications helpful
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Due to legal requirements, you must be able to provide documentation indicating that you are a US Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other approved status) to be considered for this position.
