Executive Management Team
President and Chief Executive Officer
David Malmo is President and Chief Executive Officer of Continental DataGraphics (CDG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company. CDG is part of the Customer Support business unit of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services.
Mr. Malmo has been a member or CDG’s executive management team since 1994 and also chairs the company’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining CDG as its General Counsel, he practiced corporate and securities law at Munger, Tolles & Olson in Los Angeles. He was promoted to Vice President of CDG in June, 1995 and to Senior Vice President in August, 1997.
Mr. Malmo played a leading role in CDG’s successful completion of several acquisition transactions, as well as the divestitures of various non-core businesses. He became the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer and led the company through its acquisition by The Boeing Company in September, 2000. In addition to his CDG leadership responsibilities, he also served in a parallel role as the director of Operations for Boeing’s Digital Aviation business unit from October 2013 to May 2015.
Mr. Malmo has led the transformation of CDG from a traditional printing and reproduction services company into a global organization offering customized solutions across the entire technical information management life cycle, including technical authoring, engineering services and software solutions.
Malmo graduated with honors from Stanford University and holds a law degree from the University of Texas.
Paul Duchouquette serves as CDG’s Chief Technology Officer and is a member of the company’s executive management team. Mr Duchouquette has nearly three decades of experience in the technology realm, previously serving in senior roles with giants in their industries, including Virgin Entertainment Group and Mark Cuban companies. Since joining CDG in 2007, he has led several initiatives that have improved CDG’s technical capabilities and bolstered information security, all while relatively lowering costs. Leveraging Lean startup practices, he is leading CDG’s innovation efforts by incorporating data integration, analytics, machine learning, and deep learning.
Mr. Smith joined CDG's management team in 1998 and was promoted to Vice President of IPC Authoring in November 2005 and now serves as the VP of Technical Publications for CDG. In this role, Warren Smith will have profit and loss responsibility for all commercial authoring and data conversion services as well as for the Common Authoring Environment (CAE). Mr. Smith previously held several key management and industry positions within the Product Support organizations of both The Boeing Company and the former McDonnell Douglas Corp., where he managed IPC, Provisioning, Spares Inventory Management, and Component Repair for both commercial and military programs. As a member of the Aerospace Industries Assn. (AIA), Mr. Smith also participated in the early ATA Specification development of IPC Digital Data Formats and was also SPEC 2000 Co-Chair for the industry development of the Provisioning V-File (Variable File). He also served as the McDonnell Douglas Corp. (MDC) Industry Chair Person for Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA), representing MDC before the AIA/ATA and FAA in Washington DC. Mr. Smith attended West Coast University and holds a degree in Business Management as well as several aviation/aerospace technology certificates.
Vice President – Program Management and Defense Programs
Mrs. Pace joined CDG’s Executive Leadership team in 2014. Her primary responsibilities include establishing and managing CDG’s Program Management Office and directing military and defense statements of work. Mrs. Pace has extensive experience in the defense, aviation and aerospace industries, serving more than 27 years with Boeing, including a successful stint as the Program Manager for Australia, Europe and Middle East C-17 Programs. After starting her career as an Engineer and growing into a leadership role, Mrs. Pace also served as the Director of Business Development and Advanced Design for the C-130 Avionics Modernization Program. She has also held Regional Director Sales and Marketing positions in Boeing’s Airlift and Tanker division, where she represented the company within the NATO and the European Union Military Airlift Committees. Mrs. Pace holds a MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from UCLA.
